What to Expect

Start speaking Spanish for everyday life in Uruguay.

This 8-week beginner course is designed for expats who want to start learning Spanish from zero in a friendly and supportive environment.

Through live online classes, practical vocabulary, and real conversations, you'll build the confidence to communicate in daily situations and better understand life in Uruguay.

Course Content: What you will learn during the 8-week cours

❋ Week 1 - Introduction and greetings
Learn how to introduce yourself and use basic greetings used in everyday conversations
❋ Week 4 - Asking “How are you?”
Practice common expressions used in daily conversations and learn how to ask and respond about how someone is feeling.

❋ Week 2 - The Spanish alphabet and Uruguayan sounds: Understand how Spanish pronunciation works and discover some characteristic sounds of Spanish in Uruguay.

❋ Week 5 - Regular verbs in the present tense
Start building sentences using common verbs in the present tense.
❋ Week 1 - Introduction and greetings
Learn how to introduce yourself and use basic greetings used in everyday conversations
❋ Week 3 - Articles and family vocabulary:
Learn the definite article and vocabulary to talk about family and relationships

❋ Week 6 - Numbers and prices
Learn numbers and how to understand prices in shops, markets, and restaurants.
❋ Week 1 - Introduction and greetings
Learn how to introduce yourself and use basic greetings used in everyday conversations
Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.
